2021-2022, graduate instructor: technology in the arts, texas tech university, lubbock, texas. i developed a new curriculum that is used by new instructors to teach the course on photoshop, illustrator and premiere pro.

2019-2022, teaching assistant: beginning jewelry and metalsmithing, texas tech university, lubbock, texas. 

2021, smap graduate coordinator for the saturday morning art project, (spring 2021 2021) i facilitated 7 workshops by ttu faculty. this program is supported by the helen jones foundation for gifted and talented high school students and serves high schools throughout the south plains region. for the organic cast sterling silver ring workshop, i assisted with preparing kits for the students, wax working, casting, and finishing processes and setting the zoom meeting for the workshop. i volunteered three hours as a smap graduate coordinator and ambassador representing texas tech university.  the jewelry design and metalsmithing workshops were held via zoom under the supervision of professor robly a. glover.

2021, summer discovery program instructor, junior high and high school students for summer university art experience, school of art, texas tech university, lubbock, texas. i taught two one-week jewelry workshops.

2019-2022, graduate lab technician, advisor and head technician for new technologies, 3d printing: filament printer, sla printer. i helped spearhead this new initiative for the jewelry design and metalsmithing area at texas tech university.

2022, hotter ’n hell 2022, national collegiate juried exhibition. “el mil chistes 2022”, “concealed mini sculptures”, and “beauty” were three works out of 49 works of art by 25 collegiate artists from 13 states, selected by the juror, elizabeth brim, who is a blacksmith and teacher living in western north carolina. orville hanchey gallery, northwestern state university of louisiana, natchitoches, louisiana. june - august 2022.

2021, art now america: national juried exhibition, slocumb galleries, east tennessee state university, johnson city, tennessee, “thumbs up, thumbs down” was selected by juror mike calway-fagen, this piece is one of the 37 artists chosen out of 139 submissions from all over the country. march 2 to april 9, 2021.

2020, metal complexions, a national exhibition of jewelry and metalwork presented by the prestigious houston metal arts guild (hmag), jung center in the houston museum district, houston, texas. juror: anna walker, assistant curator of decorative arts, craft, and design at the museum of fine arts, houston (mfah). there were 77 artworks by 46 artists selected for this year’s exhibition including hector carmona miranda’s “these ain’t that mouse’s hands”. february 2, 2020, to february 28, 2020. 

2020, international art & design competition 2020, an international exhibition. accademia riaci, florence italy, 53 artworks by artists worldwide were selected for this year’s exhibition including hector carmona miranda’s “these ain’t that mouse’s hands” in the category of non-professional and was awarded 3rd place. the jury was composed of leading professionals from the italian artistic scene: david bicci, daniele bartalesi, andi nufer and monica buongiovanni, april 2020.
